Canelo Alvarez is set to defend his undisputed super middleweight world titles against Jaime Munguia on May 4th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. This clash will determine the unified WBC, WBA, IBF, and WBO super-middleweight world champion. Alvarez (60-2-2, 39 KOs) enters the ring after securing a unanimous decision victory over Jermell Charlo in September for the undisputed super middleweight crown, following a similar win against John Ryder in May. Munguia (43-0, 34 KOs) recently claimed victory over Ryder with a ninth-round TKO this January.
